OTC Events

Join your friends from OTC and Run Local on Saturday, February 4th for some Winter racing at Skyline High School in Oakland! Track events include the open 3200m, youth 1600m, as well as a 400m kids’ Fun Run and a sure-to-be exciting mixed 4 x 400m Relay!

The Winter Classic is also a fundraiser for Skyline High School’s Cross Country and Track and Field programs.  Donations will help them to purchase new equipment & support their athletes!

Join OTC and our friends at Run Local for a completely unique racing experience, where you can run a fast, flat, and controlled marathon around our scenic home “track!” Beginning at the Lake Merritt Amphitheater, the marathon will head out clockwise for 13.1 miles before turning around to finish “trackwise” back in the same spot.

The Relay—also unique in its flexible structure—will feature teams of 2-4 runners, each of whom must run at least once, and can exchange in any order and as many times as they like.

Join your friends from OTC and Run Local for some Summer Solstice racing at Skyline High School in Oakland!  Track events include open 400m, 800m, 5000m races for adults and youth, as well as a 400m kids’ Fun Run and a sure-to-be exciting mixed Distance Medley Relay!
